Bulova self winding

Hello to the forum,

I bought a job lot of watches at auction and one of them is a Bulova self winder. It has no other information as to the model. The front is gold plated, now wearing through in places. The backplate says that it is waterproof, shock resistant and anti magnetic. It also says swiss under the No 6 at the bottom. I dont think it will be that valuable the glass is crazed and it doesn,t work but I would like to find out which one it is if I can.

'YANKEE CLIPPER' or a 'SENATOR'.

How can you tell what it is?

Run your mouse over the information box at the top of the page and click on "vintage Bulova ads". Look at models from 1940 on as most but not all round dialled men's watches start around then. Now just click through the beautiful database!
