The newbie minnow who swam with the sharks and gained a prize

Well, I finally found a model I have been searching for at a great price.

It was listed as "Bulova 8AE movement w/dial and hands and case".  Not much to go on...

Well the picture was only a little better...

Aaaaaaaa...please don't let anyone else see this!!!!

Well it arrived today.

I have been trying to tag a Rite Angle for months now but just couldn't swim with the big fish. 

This case and dial are in pretty good shape, the movement has a broken balance staff but this looks incredible overall!!

The main issue is the case back looks like someone tried to remelt the gold, kinda blotchy and looking like it bubbled in a couple of areas and inside the back some areas look heat blued.

All in all I think I can live just fine with it!!
