Off the 'bay, yesterday for $5!. Stated as "1930's, Mother Of Pearl button, made in Germany, original outer box." Looks early to me, and in fantastic condition ! Pics by locrowthedoe.

never seen that one.  Good score. Too bad you overpaid so much. What does it say inside the lid?

Will, inside the lid is the "dancing girl" logo, can be just seen in first pic, nothing else. Box is mint unmarked, and too small for any of my watches, so if any interest, swaps WHY, PM me.

I'll let you know when it gets here from the U.S.! Also won for $9.99 a bulova watch, 1943 case and movement, 10 AK, looks like the Apollo. Cannot upload pics, nothing like it found by me yet in D.B.

More great finds by the "Master" of digging. I still don't know how you do it. I was all over the bay last night looking for goodies and never saw any of these.

Great grabs Bobbee.

Seller advertised the watch as ladys 9 jewels!

I saw that one and it has a 15 Jewel 10 AK (Military), Mr Baker has one in the database as a 1945('ish) 'UNKNOWN' - I have 2 identically cased with 10 AKCSH (military) hack Movements.

http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1945-unknown-2460

Someone re-cased these Military Movements as there are more than one, the question is whom.

Was there a post with that info in it not too long ago? Looking for it now.

Seller states case number starts with 33, mvmnt. has X for 1943. Not a re-case.

Yes, the examples I own match also.

Not re-cased, and with the large size of the stem barrel, possibly military? Really want to see the caseback now! Seller stated "crystal 1inch across", so case will be bigger.

Got some pics of the watch now, sorry about the rubbish res. Note the large stem barrel.

Check out the Air Wardens in the database.

Air Warden has radium hands, vendor states crystal 1 inch across, AW is 26mm case, and I haven't seen any proof yet of white dial Air Warden. But I bet you know different!   : )

I agree that those Air Wardens may be misnamed.  I don't yet have a better name for them.

The dials are a match, don't you think?  The hands could have been switched out at some point.

As for the size, if the seller really measured the crystal as 1", then it would appear to be a larger model than the Air Warden.  But if the 1" is really for the case, then that's another match to the AW.

Been comparing mvmnt. in the case pics with A/W's pics of same, sizes look the same, so I think vendor may have put crystal size instead of case size by mistake.

Bob,

In looking at the Watch again in greater detail it is not what I first thought, the Case differs slightly from the other 1945'ish 'UNKNOWNS' in the database, as does the Dial.
