Why have I never seen a 1945 Bulova ad

Bulova advertised through the war years 41 -44 but I've never seen an ad for 45! The year the war was winding down and finally ended. I would think there would be less ad's from 41-44  because Bulova was concentrating on the war effort. Could it be that Bulova spent there advertising budget on The Bulova school of watchmaking. Which was started in 1945.

Accutron Spaceview question....

So how do you tell the difference between an authentic Spaceview....and a regular 214 a some guy took the dial off of and then put the Spaceview crystal on?

I think I saw one of these.... maybe a fake in progress on Ebay a few days ago...

and another one with no tickmarks on the outside I think is very suspect but being advertised as a Spaceview

I've already emailed this to Admin but I wanted to post it up here because I think it's so cool.  I've been chasing down ad's lately and this is one of my favorites so far!

Check out this SWEET ad from 1935 I bird dogged!  Great detail and I think it might even help out with my unknown I found on the ebay earlier in the week.  How GREAT is this ad guys?!
