So.... I just picked this up for $60.00 shipped, I've been waiting for the 6 day auction to end since before Christmas!
17 Jewel, 10kt gold filled or whatever, unk movement.. though maybe one of you will recognize it. Also... hinged case.
Anyway... I'm thinking maybe a Lone Eagle variant? No engraving on the bezel so I'm a little worried about that part, but with the hinged case it looks pretty close.

Hello,
I would like to know more about an old Bulova watch I have. It is an 18K gold Accuquartz with day/date "N2" with 18K gold tuning fork band. It has a 2 tone oval shaped face with a small diamond at the 9 position. I cannot find one like it anywhere on the internet. I beleive the N2 means it was made in 1972. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

Movement: 8AE has an asterisk, an X and a T Date Symbol, probably delayed by WWII

She said she got them off of the Bay, and just wrapped up the Priority Mail Box in Christmas wrap, put a Bow on, watched with a smile as I opened it.
Inside the P.M. Small Flat Rate Box were 14 Tissue wrapped bundles in a Bubble wrap sheet.

This watch was previously ID'd as a Ambassador "A", but after acquiring a 1939 Ambassador and compairing the two, it belongs in the unknown catagory for now until another Lone Eagle "A" ad shows up. ;-)

1948 Bulova "American Eagle" 21J 7AK Movement, Running smooth, Clean Shiny 10K Yellow Gold Filled Bezel and Back, 4X signed, Nice Satin Dial with Gold Markers and a Brown Calfskin Leather Band.
Very Clean Original Watch
Dial appears to have been stripped at some point with only outline of numerals reapplied. No lume in numerals, no paint applied to face ( bare steel). Hands appear to have been relumed. No patent date inside back cover, only states Bulova, Gold Filled, American Standard. Does appear that every watchmaker on planet earth has marked inside back cover (which is inscribed / dedicated with a 1927 date). 17 J - 9 A movement s/n 75439. Hand applied circle date stamp (1925) appears just south of the winding stem. Case s/n 5217451.
Case dated Jan 11, 1927, 17 J Movement. Dial and hands relumed. Original matching Maxim bracelet. Just picked up a "like new" original box.

1946 Bulova "Director" 21J 7AK Movement, Running Strong, 10K White Gold Filled Case and back in near Mint Condition, Fancy Rhinestone embellished Black Dial with Silver Hands in super condition, Neat Beveled Crystal (wont show up on the picture) in Excellent Condition, Nice Topps Stainless Expansion band really makes the watch.
