This watch belonged to my great-uncle, and I am trying to identify the model and get a replacement band for it if the old band ("Champion Made in USA") cannot be repaired. Three of the stainless steel backs have come off of the links, and those links no longer retract to a closed position when not being worn (see last picture, below). Thank you for any help you can provide in identifying the watch model, identifying a similar replacement band, or identifying a watch repairer who can fix the band. I still have the three backs that came off the band.&n
Hi, Ive been researching this watch for two day with no luck. Please help. It is also 14k white gold.
I received this from a close family friend when she passed away. I am trying to find out more information on this watch. Does anyone know anything about it? I saw one listed on here that looks quite similar called the Princeton from 1943. I have not opened the back (have no idea how), so I do not know any of the markings on it. The back does have a serial number 4382446 on it. Any information would be great, year, name, worth. Thank you!
I acquired this one Dec 12 on ebay. The basic watch looks very similar to Plaines 1940 10AX 21j Unknown Roman dial.
Subtle differences in the lugs & hands. Nice refurb dial. I'll measure it out for comparison when I get it.
The BULOVA DOUGLAS "CORRIGAN," Circa 1939- 41. 17 Jewels, Model 10AX movement. This exceptional (and true) Art Deco period design, was a tribute to famed aviator Doug Corrigan... who was quite the "dare devil," and also worked as a mechanic on Charles Lindburg's Spirit of St. Louis plane, he used on his famous voyage! This fine watch was just for sale/sold, hereafter:

Keeps good time. Not sure how to remove back. Can't seem to find a similar photo
1945 President 'E' with high dome crystal . Was this an option crystal as the other presidents I have seen have flat crystals ?

I'm still pretty stoked on it.
Positive now that the hands are wrong.... I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be like the ones on here....
