I would like information on this watch. My grandfather bougt it new in 1949 and worn it everyday till he died in 1968. I have had it ever since. It shows wear but works so,  I had it cleaned,  oiled and adjusted. I would like information on it. I would like to know what model it is and if the band was original.

Signed 4x Dated 2x: Hoping to get this one back any day now - may have to go after it wearing a mask. lol Solid Stainless Steel case and back. * 12EBACD movement is a 17J Buren 1321 Swiss Automatic stamped Bulova Watch Co. (Microrotor automatic, flat dial, sweep center seconds with date display). *Movement date code is found on lower right corner of rotor.

Curved Gold Filled Case with Step Lugs measures 32.5mm x 22mm wide non inclusive of the Crown while using Calipers. Original White Dial shows applied Gilt numerals and Bulova logo with Black printed tracks, Modern style Gilt Hour and Minute Hands and a Gilt Modern Seconds Hand on a Sub Dial partially obscuring the 6. Caseback is Stainless Steel. Flex band is Original Slight discoloration in lower Right hand corner of Dial most likely due to a Crystal bond failure. Original piece, as found.
