Lady Maxim? Not sure this shouldn't be 1922 by the serial number, these are murky waters. The watches branded on the dial as LM are quite varied, and we have several listed as 1921 that are the more traditional non-trench type. Possible Rubaiyat? Have we ever confirmed that Rubaiyat models may not have been branded as such? What about a 150?

Could be 1921 or 1922. From what I proposed previously the case serial number suggests it was manufactured in 1921, but that doesn't mean it was sold  in 1921.

Lady Maxim was my first thought as well.

LM, I'd be inclined to 1922, marking the movement begins with "10", marking AS + shield case begins with "10"

Shield case begins with 11xxxxx and I have theorized that with these early cases the year is the second number. This applies to those case serial numbers starting with 1 and from this period.

10xxxxx = 1920

11xxxxx = 1921

through to

15xxxxx = 1925

We then see normal case serial numbers starting with the year of manufacture. We also see 1923/24/25 cases start with either a 3/4/5.

I see that even the identification Shield / GLOBE to the year of manufacture clearly does not lead, both symbols are used as models from 1921 and on the model of 1922

Thanks for your input gentlemen  . I haven't received this watch yet, its still somewhere in the mail between the US and Spain.

Apart from one watch (there may be more) the cross over between Globe and Shield has occured at case serial numbers 1083175 (Globe) 1098712 (Shield)

This is not the cut over just from the records I have researched. So between these two number Bulova stopped using the Globe and started using the Shield. It will be good to narrow this down.

I'm hesitant on all of these pre-'24/25 watches as we really are applying a fair amount of speculation. Although less than scientific I am inclined to tag this on a Lady Maxim. I will not be better than tentative on any ID.

two ticks tentative for Lady Maxim.  I'm w/ Geoff on the logic
