Are you sure it is the globe symbol and not the shield symbol? You have a picture of the inside?

Can you please add a photo of the movement and inside case back. That will help us determine the correct age and model.

The solid gold case models used a different case serial numbering system, one that we have not yet cracked.

I suspect this will belong to the 'Lady Maxim' series of watches.

A very rare gem in 18K solid gold.

Stephen, I am unable to get  pics of the inside. The case is hinged in a way that I am unable to take pics that you can see all the writings.   I had to use two jewelers loops  (60X and 90X0 to see the info. The globe inside the watch has lines (lattitudes/longitude style).

Thanks for trying. The 'Glode' was the logo for the 'J.Bulova Company', before the company was renamed to Bulova Watch Company.

A rare one, I agree. Odd to see the Bulova name stamped over engraving, usually there is a spot for it, but I don't remember seeing this before. This being a solid gold one it may have aspects that don't follow the usual Bulova layouts.
