I'd say it pre-dates the 6714, but was possibly the model on which the 6714 became.

6714 tentative for me.

Regarding the B.A.I. marks to the movement, if anyone remembers the epic Lady Maxim post the movement on the subject watch was marked A.A.I., just trying to clear that up.

good note Bobbee, and the watch owner has watch in hand to read that B w/ a loop.  If he see's B that good enough for me!

Looks like a B to me too. And that's good enough for me.

I have the original image in an online album.  If anyone wants the link, please pm me. I have just looked again, and it is a "B", matching the "Bulova" stamping.  The movement serial is 899 so you can see the difference between a "B" and an "8".

Thanks to everyone for their time and interest.

Case SN for 1921. Movement similar to this c1921   6714  and exploding dials in both. Maybe these two both became the 6714.

Agreed.

Case SN=1922, and with the new evidence these ought to be considered as Lady Maxim models.

Ads for the LM show all were being advertised as both the numbers and LM at the same time through to 1924.
