Watch Description

Looks similar to 1925/26 Princine, 1926 Ramona, and 1927 Suzanne, but case shape is a little different. I have it running now, but misplaced the crystal. Band is Gold Filled with blue stones. Case is solid 14K White Gold. Movement has the blus stone winding crown. Any ideas as to Year and Name ?? Original dial, just cleaned.

Thanks  Ken S

Edit Alex: case serial updated in line with picture

* would certainly indicate 1924.

Ken thanks for providing the movement information.  I've added the movement serial number to the root record.  With an unknown case production date and a movement dated w/ Asterick (1924) should the date of watch record be updated to 1924?

Ken I can easily update the production date to 1924 based on above?  What do you think gang?

Misplaced the crystal for this watch. How can I determine which crystal and any help with where to find one?

Thanks  Ken S

Ken, I think I have found your crystal. It is a GS P410 Bulova with measurements of 22.1 x 12.9.

If this sounds right let me know and I will send it to you.

Ken  There's several members on site who have many crystals in their inventories.   You would have to get some measurements for the opening ( w/ close to mm percision and accuracy).  Do you have some calipers with which to measure the opening?

I have 100+ crystals but cannot find this one. It is not a true oval.

So we have a Bulova case w/ first digit of serial number starting with 1.  The movement date code (asterisk) is 1924.
What date should be used for this record?
Could the case be 1931, and simply is a model which didn't use either of the 1924 or 1927 dust-tite patent technologies- hence no patent date stamps?

Found a realy crumy advert that I had but have not added to the site due to the low-res.

Bulova 1925 watch

Case and dial seem to match. Advert dated (1925....well that's what I have it recorded as)

Any takers on the name...Marcella?
