Watch Description

I call this watch "Super Helene". It is designed like the Helene, but while the Helene is made of 18K white gold with 12 diamonds and 8 sapphires set in platinum, this one is full Platinum, and has 18 diamonds and 8 sapphires. As a result, comparing this "Super Helene" with the picture of the advertising of the "Helene", this "Super Helene" seems a bit longer to give space to the additional 3 diamonds on the side. Hopefully we can one day compare this "Super Helene" with a true "Helene". This "Super Helene" is 14mm wide and 31mm long.

Such a special watch deserves an ID; but at this time just Unknown

Hi Alex, welcome to myBulova, gorgeous watch, simply wonderful. I'm afraid I'll have to go along with the 'Unknown" ID at this time.

Have you noticed the letter "A" in Bulova of this watch? It is different from what I expect. It is pointy at the top, while normally the "A" is with a flat top. Any thoughts on this?

Nice Platinum watch.  I'm guessing there's no other case markings on the inside of case?
Unknown for now, but a beauty.   I can kinda see the pointy A you mention.  No thoughts from me on this.

The case only indicates the number 23 and the word platinum. There are a few faint scribbles from watch repair/maintenance persons. Thats all. I was indeed wondering if you have seen more Bulovas with the pointy A in the esrly days of Bulova?

And where would I find a nice ribbon grosgrain strap like in the advertising! That would be great to put that.
