Watch Description

Love the butler silver type dial.  Double hinged case and what appears to be original ochre colored radium numbers and hands unless they were done more recently.

Now the name is a toss-up it seems between two names for what appears to be the same model during the same year.

After a bit of chat with the gents I'll agree it does look abit more like the Senator... but really.. could be the other as well.

True on all counts gents... though I wasn't dead set on the Exec I will agree it's more than likely the Senator.

'SENATOR' - 3 Flowers on the Bezel.

'EXECUTIVE' - 1 Flower.

and it looks like only 1 flower in the senator ad above too.

This is an interesting one.  We have long thought the watch below was a version of the Senator, with the three flowers, as Fifth pointed out.  However, I cannot find a clear ad that shows this model as the Senator.  So, I don't know what that conclusion was based on.

I also have two models with the single flower design, shown both in the Executive and Senator ads for 1926.  One is smaller than the other, and I have assumed the smaller one to be the Executive, based on the ad illustrations

Plains, what are the lug to lug, width (without crown) and crystal dimensions of yours?

NOTE:  I'm focusing on the cases, not the dials or hands, as those could easily have been changed.

Senator (below)?

Senator (below)?

Executive (below)?

lol

I enlarged the 'SENATOR' ad, nothing definative on the flower situation, although I believe the ad is showing 3.

3 XXX style 'flowers' by the Crown

Note the Flower design differs on the 'SENATOR' over the 'EXECUTIVE' style.

I really can't tell whether there are three flowers or just one in that ad.  The arrow design on each side of the flower motif could easily be mistaken for part of an "X" style flower.  I just don't know.

What is the date of the ad?
