Well plains, I know that Bulova did a series of these Enamels, I also know that I've got about 10 sets of eyes looking for the ads, and I've received some info that I haven't been able to verify at this point in time. Right now I can tell you I was told that these were done in conjunction with the Men's enameled in response to positive reaction in the marketplace by the ladies, I was also told that they were a "kind" of a "test" by Bulova but were equated to Fords "Edsel" although much earlier time wise. FYI, I was told by the same source that due to slow and/or small sales returns that there aren't loads of these still around, so snag them while you can!!! All of this came from a 89 yo master watch maker who say's he remembers seeing these while sitting in his Daddy's lap at the workbench.

Sorry I cant help you with a name, I'm still crying over the fact that Bulova numbered their early 20's instead of naming these suckers %-(

BTW, LIDO line multi colors, not just black enameled. Reds, Greens, Yellow, Oh my! So if you see these enamels in other than black, don't doubt originality.... Just grab em
