I wonder what the problem is with holding this authentic 1927 Conqueror to 2 stars? Maybe I should have waited on delivery to post it, because of pre-delivery speculation? Who knows? Let me know panel members, maybe I can fix it!

I have not voted on this one yet but I see what may be the problem.  The photos of the watch and the ad are just not very clear.  For someone who knows it's pretty certain what it is but in studying your photos and comparing it to the ones I have it is a bit hard to ascertain that the pattern is indeed the same.  Perhaps it you posted some clearer pics.

Hey Wayne, I gave you 3 stars on the ID. Pretty obvious.

I have just purchased a Conqueror identical to the above . I am having difficulty removing the back and I am assuming it is hinged on one side but it looks identical on both sides.    Not wanting to damage the watch I am wondering whether anyone has a photo of this watch opened as it would help me identify which is the opening side.   Thanks in advance and a happy new year to members on this great website.

Jay ,  Thankyou , thats brilliant. Had a gut feeling there was a hinge on both sides , but assumed it was the patented case with the hinge on one side . Thanks again.
