Doris! The Doris was expensively priced at the time. US$50 while the very popular Miss America and Miss Liberty were priced at US37.50 and for that price carried 4 and 6 (simulated) sapphires or emeralds. Before the Doris (and the Josephine that shares the same price point) became available, the next step up was the Honora with a price of US$60. This was a solid gold 14K watch with 4 sapphires and two diamonds. So the Doris with its US$50 price fills a nice price gap but with its gold filled case and just 2 sapphires was not really good value for money.
