I am unable to find this watch in any of the adverts shown for 1928. I looked through 1938, but still do not see this watch in 14k & platinum with the six diamonds above and below the face, and emerald baguette accents. I am hoping you can help me identify the name of this watch. It was my grandmother's. Also, it does not work. Will Bulova service it for me?
Dear Audrey, your watch is the Orchid, one of the most beautiful models Bulova had in their range in the '20s. It was advertised 5 times in the Saturday Evening Posts of 1927, 1929 and 1930. The ads are posted on this site, the nicest one is from 21 September 1929. The Bulova company will probably not service this watch. For that you need to go to a jeweler or watch repair man in your city.

What a beautiful heirloom from your grandmother, thanks for sharing it!
