Nice Daphne. I thought we date according to case? Case is from 1928 with New York signature.

1928 Daphne would be my call. The movt most likely has been replaced.

I love these enameled cases, this one is beautiful. I think it should be 1929 as well, I know the case is '28 but only one year off on the movement makes it a '29 to me.

I'm going with 1929 Daphne. Movement jewel count matches, although I don't think we see the 5AP in anything except 15 jewels.

Alex, if the case date and movement date are "close" and there's no obvious indication of a movement swap (although this happened often), we date as most recent.  There's the scenario where case was manufactured end of 1928 and not fitted w/ movement until after the holidays.....
...or its a movement swap w/ another 5AP....but our convention is to use the latter date for these instances.
