Wayne,

I don't know.

The Case seems too large, plus the Dial variant?

Are there any Ladies Models with a 13AF movement?

Here it is next to an old Ladies, no offense Ladies and an odd Tonnau Case I had laying around.

Ticker,

Good eye, but it's so durn close.

: )

I have Old School Calipers which are useless for Crystal fitting.

Lengthways the fit is perfect, side to side has a little play so 227 x 160?

Here is a 8A229/161, measures 22.91mm x 16.19mm compared to the 6A227/158 which is 22.73mm x 15.89mm. It is also 1.15mm thick compared to .81 on the 6A

Seems like most of these old W.C crystals need a little custom fitting anyways, guess that is why most of the crystal mfg's sold grinding machines.

Let me know if you think it will work,

Greg

Greg,

It will perfectly.

Has to be an easier job to make one a little smaller than to make one a little bigger?

 : )

Let Me know what You want for it in a PM, I can use it.

Thanks

I haven't figured out how to stretch one yet, but when I do I will let you all know.

I dunno about the Ladies watches. I have only noticed three 13AFs. I have one in a 1930 Lone Eagle II & I have a picture of one used in a1930 Richard & yours. Pretty scarce.

Nice one, Mark!

The Perfit 1939 (?) Catalog No. 6 mentions a Bulova "Grant" taking a 22.9 x 16.1mm crystal... (Part No. C229/7) But the Grant is most likely a late 30s model... since the model name is mentioned in the catalog... But that W-C glass was made in the 40s... so I suspect that it was a "reuse" of the same (size) glass for a newer model... if that one "OT" has, fits correctly? (Which I suspect was for the Grant??)

William,

You may be onto something. I recall an ad for a late 20's Grant around here somewhere (?)

Bulova 'DOUGLAS' is a match.

Image above is the Watch overlaying the Vintage ad.
