Possibly the new "Princine".  It's the only ad we've ever seen with a name.

1929 Bulova Pricine is a good match.  Well done.

Sorry guys, this is not the Princine. The Princine continued to be advertised in the national magazines which is a much more reliable source than individual newspaper snippets.

Found an ID for a 1929 Josephine. The advert says Hampden wrist watch , but if you look at the picture I'm sure it says BULOVA on the dial.

Thoughts?

The watch matches the 'Princine'  ad 100%

Case, Dial and Jewel count.

It does, but I think it's fair to say that it cannot be this model as we already have a pre-existing model identified for this period.

Having said that, this just could be the newer version, releasesd at the latter half of 1929 or into 1930.

The other common know version does seem to stop at 1929 as far as our records go.

So could this be a new version of the Princine? It's not as if we've never seen Bulova do this before with other models.

The two above adverts are not exactly the same, indicating it's not a single error repeated twice.

admin,

I would agree with new version of the same model name.

The ad dated Oct of 1929 does state 'New' Princince.
