Watch Description

A most unusual Bulova and certainly a new, albeit an Unknown model. Stepped lugs are engraved in a heretofore unknown pattern and cover the bracelet spring bars. Case has Jan 11, 1927 Patent Date and is marked 14 k GF. This is, as far as I can find the oldest Bulova we have with what some call the 'dress' dial having applied numerals and Bulova name. Case side engraving matches my other "Step Lug" Bulova. Dial refinished by International.

Wow. Unknown.

You DO know that time travel is illegal, Geoff?

the Case side engraving is unlike any found on a known Bulova of era, add the hinge issue and the possibility exists that the bezel has been swapped.

I have this same watch, just not with the dress dial and the side engraving is the same on mine, so I don't believe this one was switched out.
