I remember when this watch was on EBay.  The seller would not respond to any questions including, at  least for me, the all imporatnt one about Bulova case markings.  If it ain't marked Bulova I don't want it.  It does look just like the JW Tarzan watch but it could be a non-Bulova case.  Still worthy of posting here.

I'd say the case is 100% Bulova by looking at the engraving patterm. Matches the advert we have perfectly. The dial however looks to be the earlier lumed version.

I agree they either didn't produce many of these or they just didn't actually stand the test of time as a water-proof watch and were trashed.

Either way a missed opportunity when it was for sale. I wonder who ended up with it?

You and the rest of us, Zap!

No chance of me finding one in a yard/garage sale or swap meet (what we Brits call 'car boot fairs'), I bet the only ones are in US.

Hilarious comment plainsmen.....that being said, sad we don't have this one in hand. These are always tough losses. But, in the wise words of JP, "be patient another one will always pop up."

if/when one does pop up on an auction site, Personal Message me so I'm not bidding against someone who actually wants the watch.  I'm as interested in the information as the actualy watch....I take pics, do some research, and put the watch in a box in a drawer...and forget I even have it  LOL.
...and this sounds a little crazy, but I'm willing to PayPal $20 to a MyBulova member if they are bidding on this watch...to help them win it.  I'd pay that much for just the information anyway...so maybe I can help assure one of us get it!
