similar to http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1929-patricia-1195 but dials different

closest dial match (exact) is Terry's 1928 at http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1928-patricia-2631

similar to very blurry 1929 ad image - can't guess model name from that ad, but seen in clearer 1929  below

and Patricia from 1928 ad below

First digit of case SN is a zero - but no 1930 ads for Patricia- so I call it a 1929.  Had I found a 1930 ad I would have entered the model date as 1930 Patricia just to see what you folks thought.

looks like Her to Me William, and I'd say it's 1930.

1930 ad 4

Thanks Fifth....that 1930 ad musta been too blurry for my eyes..I looked thru em one by one.. I had also tried the beta ad model search for Patricia, and no 1930 ad came up, but it's "in development"

You must really be familiar w/ these ads :)  I don't even know how you can paste the ads in the thread this quickly!

I looked thru the 6AF's in the database, trying to see if movement SN would be sequentially higher w/ progressing date symbol (1927 - 1929), thinking if it were, then I could perhaps argue that the mvnt SN on my watch was higher than the other 1929(s) and therefore it was cased/produced later than those examples....to back up the 1930 date from first case SN digit.  ....but the movement SN's didn't back this up very well.

The other 1929 had a higher movement SN than mine...and a case SN first digit of 9.   O well....I'll leave this as a 1930 anyway cause this first digit of case SN is such a strong pattern and you showed me the 1930 ad.

'ancient Chinese secret'.

after looking through them so many times it becomes second nature, 'til a new ad is found and messes everything up.

: )

I can make no sense from the Movement Seriel #'s vs Movement Datecodes.

Yet.
