JAbs just posted another watch called Laurel. I commented for that watch that the engraving design of the Laurel can be found on 4 different watch shapes. This is one of them. When you study the engraving of the Laurel, you will see it is the same as the engraving of this watch. The Laurel was the only one advertised i.e. the only watch we have an ad for the moment. So, "unknown" for the moment for this beauty! Now find the other two shapes Jabs and the "Laurel" family as I call them, is complete!

I thought it looked familiar, but not seeing anything to match, unknown for the moment.

So I am far from a Bulova expert so I'm just guessing. Lol   Isn't this movement from 1937? And it also looks similar to the Dolly Madison versions to me.

Let me try to help you a little Bsshog40 so you will understand the date that was assigned to this watch. The movement has an Omega symbol date code. The Omega symbol was used on the 1930 and the 1940 movements. So then we go to the Search tab at the top of the screen and there's a drop down menu. In that menu we click on Bulova Movements. Then we get a chart showing the year periods each movement was made. We find the 5AP movement and we see that it was made from 1926 through 1930. So that narrows down the Omega symbol to being from 1930 on this particular movement.

Thanks Mercury! I was pulling the movement up in ranfft and they showed it to be 1937. I think for Bulovas, this site would be more accurate. Lol
