Looks like a later band added to the watch. This model is one of my favourate Bulova watches.

admin,

Although it looks to be in good condition the band will be the first thing to go, wrong era - 1940's + flex. I'm almost certain I have a Watch for it somewhere.

 : )

The 'PRESIDENT' looks to be in equally good, if not better condition.

I'm wondering if this model came in the 'wandering' or jump Seconds style and traditional sub Dialed versions or was this design Year specific?

Nice find Fifth. It's a beauty.

I have traditional sub Dial 1933 virgin. probably same for 1932.

According to the vintage ads in the database the 'wandering' Seconds Dial appears to be Year specific - seen only in 1935-36.

Here's the 1932 jump hour version. Box is from the 50's but it shows the watch well and the band is 40's.
