Hinged Backset Case measures 37mm lug to lug x 25mm non inclusive of the Crown using Calipers. White Dial shows raised Gilt Arabic numerals and Bulova signature, tracks are printed Black. Hour and Minute Hands are Gilt Modern style and a unique 'Wandering' Seconds Dial appears partially obscuring the 6. N.O.S. Glass 6/18/2012
I have this same watch why is my movement a 10AE 21 Jewel is it because they made differnt movements for differnt years? My movement symbol is a triangle dates to 1935 did they change the movement a year later? I have the original bracelet on my watch it is a beauty near mint no wear to to gold. Movement is super clean as is the dial.
VERY interesting!
This Dial has been seen before in a President case Jeff, minus the wandering Seconds bit.
Tell tale signs of wear are saying this (centrally located Minute register) is correct after all....

X O Datestamp would indicate a Movement produced in 1933 and then completed or Cased in 1934.
* Based on this newly found information My guess would be the inner track Dial is early production 1934 'PRESIDENT' with the outer tracked Dials coming later.
A guess Yes, but a logical one.
Hey Fifth, You could be onto a very viable conceptual idea here. I would still argue that the track still needs to be arched at the top and bottom to be used with the cases with the arched bezel opening and that the dials with the rectangular registers fit watches with a rectangular opening.
If you caught my 1932 jump hour President at the bottom of page 1 we might also speculate that the jump hour watch came 1st and then Bulova just punched out the top of un-used bezels and went to a full view dial with the wandering seconds. Purely speculation on my part but plausible I think......maybe?
