Bulova 1936 -Unknown

Model ID rating explained.
Manufacture Year:
Additional Information:

The BULOVA Model which???

The case design is very similar to the 1936 Bulova Treasurer I ID'd some time ago:

SEE: http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1936-treasurer-725  AND ALSO:

for reference... I presume this is a 1935- 37 design? And I don't know any other details yet... so if by chance anyone recognizes this unknown model... kindly email the name and any illustrations if you have one (?) so I might in turn add it? (I'm also trying to match the crystal for the timepiece owner, presently...)

I think think the one on the left is a 1935-36 Tuxedo - On the right is the Hancock-I don't have your email addy

Sir Wayne,

My main emails are: ScottTiffee@Gmail.com . Or  WatchCrystals@Gmail.com  for crystal related...

If the one on the left is the Tux (?) then do you know if it has a curved (Curvex style) case, like the '36 Treasurer, linked above? Or the Bulova "Breton?" The Hancock appears to be the same as the unknown model I just posted. (Thanks! :-)

I've frankly been avoiding looking these up of late... as I'm now heavily involved in many other things... However I did just look in the 1939 G-S crystal catalog, and see:

an "X" shaped model "Brewster" at 22.5 x 15.9mm,

a "Lido" takes the "X934-5" at 23.4 x 13.0mm,

an unknown model takes a "X945" at 23.6 x 13.8mm,

the "Saxon," takes a "X983" at 24.3 x 13.6mm...

a unknown "X983" at 24.3 x 13.6mm...

an "X1010" at 24.8 x 16.0mm "Gladiator,"

and another unnamed Bully model at 27.2 x 17.2mm the G-S "X1130."

Unfortunately I don't HAVE ANY 1935- 1938 crystal catalogs, so unless I later have more to invest (I again know who has them, I believe...) I'm done buying the remaining several dozen others, for now... Also, the 30s and earlier catalogs RARELY mention any model names, unless the mid- latter 30s catalogs I lack, might? (A reasonable bet on say 1935+ G-S, Perfit/K-K,  perhaps others??)

 BEST :-)  Scott

I just happened to have the pictures of the above watches. I would think they are both curvex. I'm not even positive of the IDs.

Note the Treasurer has the internal rectangle were-as the President does not.

Wayne, your two photos look to be the Treasurer then the President.

Scott, yours looks to be the President.

Where did you get Tuxedo and Hancock?

Wayne. looking at the right side one (the President) it actually appears to be a different case. Larger sections at the top and bottom of the case.

Did you have ads for the Tudexo / Hancock?

Watch in the OP is a 'HANCOCK' if the ID is correct in Wayne's OP.

Details on the Bezel Horizontals match, although not visibly prominent on the OP's Watch due to the Case showing wear they were there.

Dial and Hands are identical.

Well it's NOT the Treasurer, nor the President... So I suspect it's rather one of the aforementioned, above??? I don't have the watch... or I'd have simply measured the bezel opening! I like the "Time King A" style line segment, detailing...
