Watch Description

Case measures approximately 19.25 mm x 36 mm. Found as is... just a super sweet watch.  Running... once again the Bulova "bell" symbol on the outside.  Though this time the inside case is also stamped Bulova in the regular fashion.  Must have been around this time, 1938, when they started doing that again. The watch is sporting a somewhat smaller movement than normal for men's watches of that time, a unusual 6AM, 17 Jewel. The watch also came with what looks to be the original bracelet.  Marked the same as my other original bracelets of the mid-30's  B/R Patent Pending What is it boys?

I originally thought Broadcaster... but there's no seconds dial... nor is this watch a 21 Jewel.

Yeah it's definately a mens.  Men's band.  It's a man's size for the time at 33 mm vertical.

It's definately a looker... about the size of a Banker or Ranger of that time.

Hrmm.. you know I didn't really notice that.  I thought that was the first link in the band.  If those are the lugs then yes, they are in fact hinged.  If you look at the picture showing the back you can see where they connect and the tube the shaft must pass through.

If they're the first part of the bracelet... then that thing was made exactingly for this watch.

Ah HA!  Your correct with the hinged lugs!  I found another example of the same watch!  Somebody fanicied it up but this is it all right.
