Watch Description

Case measures approximately 19.25 mm x 36 mm. Found as is... just a super sweet watch.  Running... once again the Bulova "bell" symbol on the outside.  Though this time the inside case is also stamped Bulova in the regular fashion.  Must have been around this time, 1938, when they started doing that again. The watch is sporting a somewhat smaller movement than normal for men's watches of that time, a unusual 6AM, 17 Jewel. The watch also came with what looks to be the original bracelet.  Marked the same as my other original bracelets of the mid-30's  B/R Patent Pending What is it boys?

GOOD ONE:-)  I believe I have the glass and/or model name/s? Got measurements?? (I'm not here much again... so MESSAGE ME with any QnA or requests...)

Cambridge or Kenneth  (1939 Perfit catalog)  =  a  BB glass:  "MT" 24.5mm x 13.8mm, perhaps???

The case sure looks like a Broadcaster, but where did the movement/dial come from? The dial looks like it matches the case to a tee, so I don't think it was a movement swap, 

Some sort of a Time King??

Yeah look at the other example of the same model watch on the previous page with the custom blue dial.  That blue dialed watch has the exact same 6AM movement and really unique caseback.... check that thing out... in my original watch and this

identical model.  It's crazy.

 

 

On a side note.... HOW CRAZY IS IT THAT WE NEVER SEE A CERTAIN MODEL BEFORE... and THEN WE SEE LIKE SEVERAL AT ONCE?!  

That drives me batty.

The '43 GS catalog has the MT356-15 24.6x13.9 fitting the Bulova Cambridge & Kenneth. I've cross referenced the Federal MT5-245 24.5x13.8 also. I have 1 of the Federal should you need it.

Is the Kenneth engraved? Different dial. Subject could still be the Cambridge.

Could be... but maybe not either.  I don't think they had the variant names in the mid 30's... Look at the new Phantom ad I posted.. shows all 3 Phantom variants with the name Phantom... stating... The Phantom... engraved or not!
