Watch Description

It could use a redial some might say but I haven't decided. I may attempt to retouch instead favouring restoration over refinishing. No brassing on the case and I belive the original bracelet.

Beautiful "Rose Gold" timepiece... These "pink gold" watches were very popular in the late 30s through mid forties! I just sent one of these to England... (It will be redialed and resold on eBay,  in November...)

Best :-)  William

To redial or not to redial. Always a tough decision. The dial looks to be in pretty good shape to me.

I had a 45 tank restored. Spent more money restoring it than it's worth but the watch has sentimental value to me and will never be sold. Have a look    http://bobswatches.webnode.com/

Thanks WIlliam. I know exactly what you mean Bob. This is one I'll leave alone even though it might affect saleability. It's one of the better conditioned examples I have as both watch and bracelet have no brassing at all. I'll put better photo's up when I get the others off of my list.
