Hi guys,
I'm not sure about the date of manufacturer but I've been told by the person I bought it off that it was from the 40s. I would like to get this confirmed.
I have also been told there are single cut diamonds on the face but am waiting for a valuation certificate to confirm this.
Hello and welcome to myBulova! Is there any markings on the case back of the watch? A serial number at the end and does it say Bulova or B Quality or B 14K? If you can take a photo if there is anything that would be helpful. Also a photo of the movement if you get one would help as well. My guess would be late 30s or early 40s. Very pretty watch.
Hi guys,
I got the following evaluation from the sellers. They are based in Australia, so costs are quoted in AUD. I'm not sure if I overpaid, but this is the only place I've ever seen a Bulova in Australia.
Otherwise, it does say that there are .25 Carats (single cuts). Colour = G/I. Clarity = VS/SI
The watch is 14 Carat white gold.
There aren't any serial numbers on the back case and I am not game to open up the case to take a photo of the mechanics inside. I can try to take it to a professional watch repair person to do this.
Please let me know if what I have provided is enough or if you need the photo of the mechanics inside.
Thank you.
Thanks for adding this information. I've removed the evaluation report as it contains personal information of the evaluator which is probably not ideal to publish.
Unfortunately the report does not tell us anything new and doesn't specify the actual number of diamonds on the watch case.
Can you please take a look yourself and count them. There looks to be about 28, but it's hard to say for sure from your photo.
I live in Canberra if you ever need something to help service or repair your watch.
