Side-by-side comparison indicates a match with a 1940 Minuteman case. Neither one looks like the exagerated curve in the ad.

Ya recon it's a 1940 Minuteman?

Wayne,

Not a Minuteman.

There's a definate variation in the Caseback length and design. Caseback on the left is longer and has a squared lip. Your case is shorter with a rolled lip. Highlighted in Yellow.

Minute Man and President side by side.

 The Dial variation is obvious.

The Watch looks like a President with a 17J replacement for the 21J 7AP they came with.

Is it a President case?-Not!   Do You have a name for the watch on the right of your post?

Interesting;

I thought all President's were 21J Movements

The one I have listed here is the same as Wayne's except it has Gold hour & minute hands.

17J 7AP movement

Neither this or Bob Bruno's watch are Presidents.

Note the angled, longer top and bottom parts of the bezel, compared to the narrower, more curved ones in Bob and Wayne's watches.

Also the side bezels are narrower in the President, compared to the wider ones on the other two.

Unknown.
