Just purchased. Photo's are via the website of the seller, as their camera has better focus than mine.
Bulova Chronograph. 2 register, similar to versions from the 30's and 40's.
On the movement:
"17JEWELS UNSADUSTED"
"Bulova Watch Co. Swiss"
I've included the best shot of the movement symbol I can find. Valjoux movement? Or possibly Omega?
Inside case back:
"BULOVA WATCH Co
SWISS
196022"
Rectangular pushers, case back is bare. Has the larger sub registers found on these style chronographs, rather than the smaller. Not sure about the second hand.
Nice Chronograph similar as another in database
movement 13AK is originally Valjoux 23 http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&Valjoux_23
Very nice old Bulova, I like this model a lot. What do mean that you're unsure of the second hand?
We designate these beauties as 'Chronograph'. I don't believe we ever found a further classification.
PS - Highly recommend service if you plan to wear it regularly.
