Watch Description

Case measures 37mm lug to lug x 25mm wide using Calipers.

Original White Dial shows a combination of applied Gilt numerals and Hashmarks, Bulova signature is applied Gilt. Hour and Minute Hands are Gilt Index style and a Black Sweep Seconds Hand tracks on a printed Center Dial numerated at 10 Second intervals.

Caseback is Stainless Steel and stamped as shown.

* Movement is showing a Square and an Asterisk - 1941 being the logical production Date of the Watch.

Subject watch mvnt photo is the first I've seen with the BXW import code appearing twice on single mvmt.  Maybe that bridge was replaced from another interchangeable mvnt which originally only had the BXW on said bridge?  Conjecture on bridge replacement doesn't address the two date symbols on the same bridge/plate.

Below is a 2nd example of an early 1940's 17Jewel 7 AC with 'BXW' stamped on the Bridge and on the Balance plate.

This Movement was also found in a 'PHYSICIAN'.
