Need to replace the crystal, but confused on model of watch. Looks like an ARNOLD? Could you good people help with identiftying this watch and a glass crystal I need to purchase. Thank you!

I'm at 1942 (based on case serial number) Bulova Commando. I should have also checked Geoff amazing collection for a match.

Found a photo of another Commando - You nailed it. Now if I can find a crystal.

Tod, any chance of another photo of the back case showing the A9 stamp to confirm it a true 1949 watch. Thansk!

Movement and case both stamped as A9 - confirmation that watch is a 1949 and will have to be updated as such in the database.

Watch seems to be somewhat rare - do you think I will find a crystal for it?

I'm sure I have it but I can't find a listing in any catalog, so we are going to have to do it the hard way.

I need measuremets of the case opening , length and width in MM to the closest tenth mm using a caliper.  That should narrow it down to one or two at most and we can fine tune it from there.
