Hi,

I'd like to ask help to identify this watch precisly, because i'm not sure about it.

Based on the case, it look like a Chesterfield, but the dial is rather a Douglas, as i found it in ads.

The second issue is the werk. As i found, the Douglas was only made with 21 jewels, but this one has a 17AE with 17.

The werk works fine, it was checked and adjusted few weeks ago. Glass is also quite nice.

T stamp would indicate 1942.

Hello Peter, welcome to myBulova. I'm a bit undecided on the ID for your watch. It seems like the case is that of Chesterfield but the 17 jewel movement is not consistent with Chesterfield. Chesterfield case, like yours is not engraved, Tuxedo is engraved. Tuxedo is advertised with a 17J movement. I would be willing to bet that at some point the movement was replaced in your watch. I'm more inclined to ID watches by the case so I'll vote Chesterfield as the name. Thanks for sharing it.

Hi Geoff,

Thanks for information. I'll change the name based on this.
