Watch Description

Found this watch in a bag of jewelry that belonged to my fathers second wife. She died in 2004. I am guessing  from my research that this watch is art deco and yes those are real diamonds an rubies. I would like to sell this watch.

Picture of movement also included and the inside of the watch case.  Will take pic of outside case as well.

Case is 14 K gold

I will post pics of the back and the movement later on this evening.

Hi Vintage Diva  The new pic is too small to be very useful.  If you want to email me the original photo, I can try getting the size right. Since we can't see the picture, can you type in all stamped info on the inside case back (if anything) and the information stamped on the movement?  Please and thanks"

I'll send you my outside email via the personal message system.

Hey William-

Just put a closup of the movement.  This is the largest that i could get when taking the pic to meet the requirements.

I'm still at unknown. I's a true Bulova case IMO, we have just yet to see it in an advert.

I suspect this this watch was a custom job. The original owners were on the wealthy side. Usually there is paperwork with this sort of item but I donot have it.

Hi, It is very possible that a jeweller/watchmaker added the diamond and ruby embelishments. I've seen a fair bit of this over the years on both men's and women's watches. None have ever been positivly ID'd with an ad showing the embellishments.

Thanks, you may be right but why spend money on embellsihments to a mass produced watch when you are wealthy enough to buy  a Cartier or some watch that can be customed made. Maybe a Tiffany or something. Does not make much sense to me!
