These solid gold womens watches from the 40s and 50s are harder to find names for as there don't seem to be as many ads for them from this time period.

My wife has several and just loves them, expecially with the rubies.

Hello mamakay, welcome to myBulova. I agree with Dave, I just don't see any matches to your watch in our advert data base. It certainly is a lovely watch, I wish I could could give you more information.  I imagine it was special gift in the day.

We generally date watches from this era using the newest of either the movement date code or the serial number. Up until 1948 we consider the leading digit of the s/n to be year of manufacture. In the example of your watch I suggest it's a 1943 model. Thanks for sharing it.

I'm also at an Unknown model; no luck finding a match in the available ads.

I have to have a ballpark figure for insurance/estate purposes.  Any idea where I can get a price on this watch?  The stones include 6 rubies and two diamonds.

We are not able to give an appraisal but perhaps a jeweler local to where you live can help.
