Watch Description

Doesn't look like a redial and I can't see a movement symbol.  Looks like a senator but is it a 1943 or is it 47  both years used they movements the radium is still on the hands and numbers.

I'll agree with "not a senator".  Still looking at previously ID'ed examples, and all our great ads.  Stainless back helps some :)

If there is a date symbol, it will usually be located here...

Look it over closely with a loupe or magnifying glass

If it's got an American accent the Bulova Black Hawk it is.

I have looked and I thnk I have found the X for 1943 it actually looks like a screw at first glance but it isn't.

I will get a decent picture up when I get this camera to bloody work lol.

On the movement in the picture on the top left just above the first drill hole on the plate you can just see the x slighly.

This is the building as it looks now, where that jewelry store was in the ad. It's about 35 miles from my home.
