Purchased in very rough condition, but somehow outer case and dial / hands were there. I replaced movement due to train rust. Original was same, but date symbol was + . (1943) Original glass crystal was intact, but looked like someone had taped it to a car tire for a few miles. No such damage to case - wierd. Replaced crystal with plastic CMT346-14. Just for searching sake - the Brewster is very similar the Attorney, but has an additional step in the sides.
The watch should be logged into the database as it is, in it's presently form. The movement is a 1945 triangle date symbol 10BA. ADMIN do you have some guidance on this? By chance does the inside caseback indicate a sterling silver base metal? If it does I would show a picture. In 1943 Bulova used a sterling silver base metal for US made watch cases due to the war effort & would prove the 1943 date for the case.
I would also suggest an ad as your number 6 picture as further authentication.
Very nice restoration job & welcome to the site!
The case is a Brewster with an original 10BA movement, it may not be the original as purchased but it stil lis an origial movement.
I'm happy for this to be presented in the database as was original. The owner has stated all that has happened to the watch and explains the newer movement.
