I think the Rona models had more of a separation down the back center of each lug, as seen in these ads 1944 1947 1948; but the case looks very similar.

It is a match for that record. That watch was entered into the dB long before we started our current diligence of vetting model and ID. I would like to try to nail this one down and then update that record to match this one. I continue to look as well but haven't found anything.

Are the new photos above? They still appear very fuzzy and make it difficult to ID the watch accurately.

Has the characteristics of the Goddess of Time models from this era.

There were several different variations; different bezels styles and some with engravings; but I think there were some similar to subject watch. I didn't find any other possible matches.

Hi Louis,

I think we still grope for identification because we are missing basic data:

  • on the back side of case is an indication of the year of production
  • the movement is an indication of data on production and number of jewels
like here, indicate they are in accordance with "Bulova Data Codes" http://www.mybulova.com/bulova-date-codes What are the data on your watch ??? (certainly there is 17JWLs instead 30JWLs how you write)

Goddess of Time it is. Will update the other older record accordingly.
