I agree to some extent, and I'm not discounting that this version with this dial wasn't renamed Spencer by Bulova after 1943. We just don't have any other supporting documentation to support it. Thank You Bulova!  I'm not saying it's not a Spencer and I won't say it's a Senator either because aside from your postcard, there is no other evidence. I have to agree with your logic, different dial, change the name but with the "Senator A" in yellow gold...... who can be sure. The postcard says it is, nothing really says it isn't so I'm kinda on the fence with this one, again, Thank You Bulova for making history a huge puzzle.

We just don't  have these kind of issues with Hamilton watches, they kept great records!

Fifth

The watch shown in the above Spencer ad indicates a yellow gold color case and yellow gold  colored attached numerals on a dial with a white background and modern gold colored hands. The watch you claim to be a Spencer has the pink color combination case pink dial background & painted exploding numerals & Fils style hands. I call'em as I see'em too!

Point taken Wayne, it's not a 100% identical match to the ad it's a different color scheme Rose Pink vs Natural Gold....but the Watch doesn't match any 'SENATOR' ads either, not by a long shot.

No apology necessary, I admire a person that stands behind what he believes. Nuff said!
