Previously known as the Princeton, by 1948 is was rebadged as part of the Bulova Excellency series and became a Bulova 'His Excellency'

Advert indicates the model came in yellow, white and pink gold versions. 'AA' seems to be the yellow gold variation.

Hello Aviana, welcome to myBulova. I agree that your watch is named the His Excellency model. It appears to be in very nice condition, thanks for sharing it.

I agree that watch in 1948 is the His Excellency; but serial number listed starts with a '6', so is this perhaps a 1946 model. That may make it a Princeton.

Good point, I was focused on the year entered and missed the serial number.

Aviana - can you please confirm the serial number? Did you by any chance examine the movement for a date code?

I messaged Aviana (Lynn) and just heard back. The serial number listed is correct for a 1946 date.

I suggest we go with a Princeton ID
