Watch is in 14k Rose gold with a bronze face.

I believe it to be an 1950 Squadron.

Not sure what the "BXW" marking is on the movement.

No date marking other than both a 46 and a 51?

Watch is in very good condition, runs smoothly and keeps good time.

Was bought on eBay on the 01/12/2015 for $US 52.

What, you bought the watch on the first of December 2015?

That's even further ahead than Geoff thought! Take me with you, Marty McFly!

And change the date from 1950 to 1946, as Geoff asked. ( Please)!

It will have to happen one day.

Not sure, but think that US cars are now metric now that most cars are global models?

International sporting events have to based on metric measurements.

So you must be part of the way there due to neccessity anyway.

Thanks for the comments.

I don't think you get it.

Geoff was commenting on your description where you have posted the date you bought the watch as being on 1/12/2015, which by my reckoning is next December, but by US reckoning is next week.

It was a joke.

OH. I get it now. I was a bit ahead of myself. :)

Always have problems in the first week of the year getting the year right. Usually stilll in last year.

Hmmmmm, OK, so either way you write it Gary, 12 January 2015 (12/1/2015) or January 12, 2015 (1/12/2015) that date is STILL four days In the future, isn't it?    ; )

The good news is your watch will still be a Sqaudron on that day too!

Those dates make no sense. Sorry. Cannot compare numbers to words.

Anyway, we should all take comfort that for one day a month everyone is on the same date.

Agree with Squadron B, and my own take on the date format...

In the Canadian Military we always wrote it, e.g: 12Jan2015, and there is no way to confuse this.
