I thought so. In 1947 these watches all were called His Excellencies although as far as I can tell there is no variant for the rose/copper version.

No surprise to me that your specimen is in much nicer shape than most.  I do believe that acquiring fine examples of any of these pre-50's models is something of a black art, that is only mastered over time.
