Fifth

Very nice example. 1946 was the only year that the bottle cap Treasurer was advertised & in only 2 ads that year (in the database) also with two different dial styles. Other style shown below. The case appeared again in the form of the Excellency JJ (Coke dial example)

Wayne,

Thanks.

The Minute Hand was off and laying in the outer edge of the Dial when aquired, looks like it was there for quite some time (should have cleaned the Hand before re-attatching, we live and learn).

The Watch winds, sets and runs but the mainspring slips if wound too much so it will be repaired/replaced while servicing.

After an intial cleaning the Case shows no wear, darn near perfect.

Other than the Gilt Bulova signature, the Dial design is identical to one seen in a 1946 'PRINCETON', another original member of the 'EXCELLENCY GROUP.

Sock drawer Watch.

up close and personal, check out the detail on the tip of the Minutes Hand.

there's a divot in the Dial I totally missed. haha

Here's an interesting point, note how the movement is absent of any Case screws as on the 21 Jewel 10AK found in the 'PRINCETON' of the same era. The same movement ring is present but in the caseback.

...I wonder if the are any screw marks on that thing.
