'46 ad 1 shows the White Gold variety only.

In 1947 the Watch becomes 'HIS EXCELLENCY' as part of the 'EXCELLENCY GROUP'

 Garys' example would not be the "J" IMO

Looks like the seven digit case serial number starts w/ a "6".
