Let me tell you a story.
Kay and Fritz grew up in a town near Atlantic City, NJ. Fritz was drafted into the Army during WWII and went off to fight in the South Pacific. After Fritz was discharged from the Army, he and Kay started dating. In 1948, on Kay’s 18th birthday, Fritz gave her a Bulova watch. They married in 1949. They were married for 48 years and had 3 children. Fritz passed away in 1998.
This is that watch.

Beautiful watch, love the intricate detail. Unfortunately, this is a model we have so far been unable to identify, like this one.
