Case 24x9mm with Speidel stretchy band 6''  Markings: Face: Bulova Case back: 14k gold; Bulova; 9546073; engraved initials & dated 1948 Inside: Bulova 14k gold; New York Movement: Bulova Watch Co.; 17 jewels; USA; 8AE  Materials: Yellow gold case & acrylic crystal. Band is plate with stainless steel back Weight: 30.9 grams w/o movement includes band & 37.5 grams total Condition: Appears to be in decent condition and all original Can anyone tell me what this watch is called?  If it is a Mans or Womans? And any other info you can tell me!  Thanks, Paul

do you think that this watch is on the smaller size like almost womans size?

Paul, we don't do price valuation but your watch does have a certain value because of the gold content. In most cases we'll say it's worth what you were willing to pay for it OR it's priceless if it's a family heirloom. In terms of rarity, well, these were mass produced watches so not really so rare, although we see a lot fewer solid gold Bulova's than we see rolled or plated gold. In terms of the size, it is a man's watch but the style back then was much smaller that we see today. All men's watches were of similar size 'back then'
