1948 Excelleny?  Caseback: 10K GOLD FILLED  BULOVA and serial number (white gold)  Inside caseback: BULOVA FIFTH AVE NEW YORK  Movement is 21 jewel 7AK dated 1947 (47)  Dial is golden colour with black painted numbers Bulova name , minute and secondstrack. Notch at the 12 indicates a redial at some point. Blued hour and minute hands (missing the seconds hand as received).  Crystal measures 17.35x21.75 mm (measured inside the case) curved in one direction.

I think that watch will be His Excellency "GG" like this

The pricelists show three His Exc models at $62.50; GG, HH, and II. The various ads state GG as the Yellow gold version, and although there are no available ads showing the HH and II, I do have a photo of a 1948 NOS 'II' variant that I saw online some time ago. It shows the white gold version, which is a match to the subject watch:

It is not alot to go on, but I would be okay to call this the His Excellency 'II'

I also think by process of elimination, the 'HH' is likely the rose gold version.
